Maddie just sniffs at his hand before scratching behind her ear. Jack smiles again.

"If I ever had to get revenge on someone, I'd just send her in their room or something. She likes taking things and then hiding them where no one can find them. I've lost two sets of car keys that way."

He then looks contemplative.

"Beer, huh? I think I have plenty of that."
