006: Puppies!

[It's been a few months since Mitch and Maddie went missing, along with Lou's dog, Jake. Luckily, all animals returned to their respective owners, except Jake had a bit more than just herself when she got back. Without too much explanation otherwise, the results of that fateful two or so months, plus an extra two months dealing with squeakily-barking, non-potty trained, and teething puppies, Jack and Lou are sitting around with a crib-pen type-thing and a sign hanging off the side of it.]



[And if you should look in the pen, you'll see six or so of these little guys (and girls) rolling around, playing tug-of-war with an old sneaker, or sleeping.]



[Yes, a couple Shepherd-Husky-coonhound-something-or-another mutt puppies just waiting for someone to come by and pick them up. :3 Have at!]

Sorta. It was Lou's dog that had 'em in the first place. I watched 'em until they grew up. An' Mitch has been like super-dad over here.

And they're good working dogs, too. Or according to the breeds that went into 'em, they should be. But they're really playful, too.

Uh, let's see... German Shepherd, Siberian Husky, and some kind of coonhound. So that's hauling, shepherding, and hunting, all in one dog. They're definitely gonna be excellent runners.

He grinned, leaning down and nuzzling the pup while ruffling its ears.
Oh you are gonna be a good dog ain't ya? Jus' a wonderful lil'perfect dog. He glances back up Jack.
So, wha're ya doin' with 'em? Gonna keep 'em all?

Nah, me n' Lou are givin' 'em away. I can't keep 'em with having Mitch. An' I'm pretty sure Lou can't either.

He bit his lip, looking down at the pup. Who continued to wriggle in his lap before hopping up and licking his nose.
Ya... ya can keep 'im if ya wan'.

He waves his hands around, shaking his head frantically. He's just being a big baby really. He loves puppies!

No! No! I was just sayin' that's a real good one ya picked out there. He smiles and nods as the puppy eagerly butts Will's hand in an effort to get more pets. See. I think he knows who he wants to go with.

Awww, there ain't nothin' to thank me for, Willy. Jake and Mitch did most of the work after all!

He's going to have to reach out pet that puppy too. NEED TO PET ON CUTE THINGS EVEN MORE CONTAIOUS THAN THE SWINE FLU!

So what do ya think ya might like to name it then? I've been callin' him Truman up till now. ...course I've been callin' ALL of 'em Truman...
