{closed} what a mess...

[The floods in Iowa, yet again, did a pretty decent amount of damage. While most of the water may be gone, that doesn't mean his room hasn't had its fair share of mess. The carpet is still soaked, as is the tile in the bathroom. His room alone looks like a tidal wave went through it not too long ago. There's boxes and papers and dirty dishes just about everywhere. A bag of dog food got tipped over at some point and Mitch looks a little heavier and much happier. And then there's Maddie, who has been a wave of destruction all on her own. Every corner in the place has some fecal matter in it, thanks to her.

On top of it all, there's Jack, who is in a Hawkeyes t-shirt from 20 years ago and a pair of boxers, slumped on his couch and snoring loudly. Floods take a lot out of him.]

[ Guess who just came back from the camping trip against his will and decided to check up on Jack? This failure at life, if he had a choice he'd keep pretty much checking up on the neighbors and cities who flooded - but Headquarters thought it was fun to put him on a trip.

While he didn't mind it by all means, he was antsy to get back because he knew how things quickly fell apart when he wasn't around. And sure enough, when he came back to Jack's room it looked terrible. Not as terrible as he found it when he was sent on the mission from Lou to watch over him and made sure he ate but still nasty. For example there was a lot more poo in the corners of the room, he had to stab various monstrosities and abominations crawling in the sink, from dish to dish he could swear that mold was mutating, and the floor was a lot more sticky.

Either way, cleaning feces was nothing new to him (he had a farm at home, of course he's going to keep animals clean) the state was taken surprise at the condition this room had slipped into, he could only imagine what it looked like in the state itself. With proper cleaning supplies in hand and dressed for work, Gabe stomped over with his heavy workboots in front of the couch dropped all the cleaning supplies in front of the sleeping state. This would have made a lot of noise understandably so if Jack manages to sleep through that I would call it nothing short of one of the great wonders of the world.

Gabe says no words, but his face clearly shows how much he approves of this situation. ]
