Finding himself bored again, Jack has done yet another meme to pass the time seeing as how all the work outside is done and it's just going to be a blazing inferno outside today. So what better to do than fill out random, mostly useless things that may or may not melt your brain! All while having a ferret sleep over one shoulder and wake up only to sneeze on you. Ah yes, what better life can there be?

Burch... he don't tend ta like many people really. Bu' he can be... kinda nice... when he wan's ta be.

An' ah can understand tha' cupcake thin'. Tha' wasn' fun at all.

"I'unno. I think he actually hates me, which sucks 'cause I thought he was kinda cool. And I slept for like, half a day after the cupcake thing wore off. I am never trusting HQ to make food ever again, that's for sure. "

Well hello Maddie, pleased ta meet ya.

He looks back up at Jack.
Tha's a shame... bu' yeah, he don' seem ta like me tha' much either. An' ya'll find tha'... i's rarely safe ta trust HQ.

Maddie in return greets him with a sneeze. Jack just laughs.

"I think she likes you. I don't let her out much 'cause she has a habit of stealing peoples' stuff. It's a ferret thing I guess. But yeah, I dunno what I can do to make him not hate me, if that's even possible."

He chuckles at the sneeze, scratching the back of her head.
Well tha's expected. An' ya know better don' ya darlin'. He directs this at the ferret.
Tha's... a hard one really. If ah knew ah'd tell ya. Mostly jus' try not ta get on 'is nerves... an' give 'em beer.

Maddie just sniffs at his hand before scratching behind her ear. Jack smiles again.

"If I ever had to get revenge on someone, I'd just send her in their room or something. She likes taking things and then hiding them where no one can find them. I've lost two sets of car keys that way."

He then looks contemplative.

"Beer, huh? I think I have plenty of that."

Ah wouldn' know. Ain't ever had a ferret 'fore. Bu' most thin's can be, so ah guess it'd be worth a shot. Though ah ain't sure tha'd be a good use fer her... 'less ya wan' her comin' back dead.

She sniffs at him before crawling (ungracefully) onto his shoulder and perching there happily.

"Aw, Will, ya got a scarf now!"

She looks perfectly content and slumps over. Jack laughs and shakes his head.

"I'm gonna have to be careful or else she's gonna follow you around instead of me."

Naw. Ah'm sure she likes ya too much fer tha'. Despite that, he keeps scratching at her chin.

"Ah, I just feed her and let her run around. I don't spoil her that much. And she's kinda like a cat. She doesn't care about anyone else unless she likes 'em."

Tha's wha' ah've always kept dogs. Thought about a cat once. Bu' didn' really have time ta care fer it. Tha dogs could always take care a' themselves.

"I got a dog around here..." He looks around. "...somewhere. He's pretty good. I got him for herding a few years ago."

Mine are usually fer huntin'. Got a lab, Star, an' a beagle, Twiggs.

"I just got a German Shepherd named Mitch. He's an okay hunting dog but he's better at herding."

After dealin' with Star ah'm sure ah'll be fine. She don' quite understand tha's she's bigger 'an some people yet.

"Same with Mitch. He thinks he's still a puppy or something when he's almost as tall as me when he stands up. And then Maddie doesn't realize she's really small so she'll jump at him. Funny thing is, he's terrified of her."
